PHOENIX – Gammage & Burnham is pleased to announce that attorney Asha Devineni has joined the firm’s Healthcare Group. Asha previously was a CDC Public Health Law Fellow placed at The Network for Public Health Law. Prior to that she was a Healthcare Compliance Specialist, supporting both corporate and non-profit compliance programs. Asha also co-developed and co-taught a class on Coursera called Medicaid Policy & Politics.
Asha earned her J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at ASU, earning certificates in Health Law & Policy, and Law, Science & Technology: Life Sciences. In addition, she earned her B.S., summa cum laude, from Barrett, the Honors College at ASU, majoring in the Science of Healthcare Delivery, and earned a certificate in Healthcare Ethics. For her honor’s thesis project, Asha explored how to identify barriers to care coordination for children with special healthcare needs. Asha also earned the CALI award in two classes, graduated with the highest pro bono distinction, was a Pedrick scholar in the Spring 2020 semester, and an ASU Center for Law, Science, and Innovation scholar for all three years.
