2018 EMPLOYMENT LAW UPDATES

Minimum Wage
Don’t forget that the minimum wage in Arizona is now $10.50 effective January 1, 2018 and will move to $11.00 an hour effective January 1, 2019.
Paid Sick Leave
For many employers, January 1 also starts a new year for accruing and using statutorily mandated Paid Sick Time. If you have questions about carry over into the new year, or adjustments that you want to make to your paid sick leave program, please call us.
