Evan M. Russell

Evan Russell is a dedicated attorney in Gammage & Burnham’s Litigation Practice Group, focusing on commercial litigation, contract disputes, and real estate and construction matters in state and district court. With strong legal research capabilities and practical experience, Evan effectively advocates for his clients, ensuring their interests are protected and represented.

Evan’s litigation practice encompasses a wide range of areas, allowing him to serve clients with diverse needs. His areas of emphasis include:

Before joining Gammage & Burnham, Evan gained valuable experience as a litigation associate, representing clients in personal injury, wrongful death, and premises liability cases. This diverse background has equipped him with the skills to handle a variety of litigation matters effectively.

Evan began his legal education at Suffolk University in Boston before graduating from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. While at ASU, he earned a CALI Excellence Award, and externed for the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, where he received Rule 39(C) Limited Practice Certification. He also clerked for Generation Justice, conducting research on child welfare laws to inform legislative policy recommendations.

Evan holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Connecticut, during which he spent a semester abroad in Barcelona. Before law school, he worked in immigration, coordinating the immigration program for a Fortune 500 Company.

Outside of his legal practice, Evan enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, and playing golf. He is also a member of the Board for the Scottsdale/Paradise Valley YMCA where he contributes his time and legal knowledge to benefit the community. A diehard Boston sports fan, he brings the same passion and dedication to his clients as he does to his favorite teams.
