Evan Russell is an attorney in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. His practice focuses on commercial litigation, contract disputes, and real estate and construction matters in state court.
Prior to joining Gammage & Burnham, Evan was a litigation associate where his work consisted of representing clients in personal injury and wrongful death, premises liability, and other matters.
Evan began his law school journey at Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts, but graduated from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at ASU. At ASU, he earned a CALI Excellence Award for NCAA Compliance, Infractions. While in law school, Evan externed for the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, where he received Rule 39(C) Limited Practice Certification, and conducted research for the district’s senior attorney. He also clerked for Generation Justice, researching federal and state child welfare laws to inform legislative policy change recommendations.
Evan received his B.S. in Finance from the University of Connecticut, and spent a semester abroad in Barcelona. Prior to law school, he worked for three years in immigration, ultimately helping coordinate the immigration program for Wayfair, Inc.
When not in the office, Evan enjoys spending time traveling, reading, cooking, and playing golf. He is a diehard Boston sports fan.
