Gammage & Burnham is pleased to announce that Phoenix Partner Heather J. Boysel has been named as one of AZ Business Magazine’s Most Influential Women in Arizona Business for 2023.
The Most Influential Women in Arizona Business of 2023 were chosen from a field of more than 1,900 women under consideration. An editorial board that consists of 12 former Most Influential Women selected the honorees based on qualities that have defined Arizona’s most accomplished leaders, including fearlessness, leadership and innovation.
Heather served as the Managing Partner for Gammage & Burnham for more than four years. She is an Arizona native who focuses her practice in commercial litigation with an emphasis in the healthcare field. She has successfully obtained millions of dollars from health care insurers on behalf of her hospital clients and routinely handles medical reimbursement disputes on behalf of providers against commercial payors, Medicare auditors, AHCCCS contractors and other governmental entities.
Heather graduated Magna Cum Laude from Arizona State University, earning both her Bachelors of Science in Engineering (B.S.E) (2004) and her J.D. (2007). She began her career with Gammage & Burnham as a summer associate and has never looked back. Heather has been recognized by the Phoenix Business Journal for the 40 under 40 awards in 2019, and has been ranked in Chambers USA, Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers, and the Top Lawyers in Arizona.
