Stephen focuses his practice primarily on real estate transactions where he represents clients acquiring, selling, leasing, and developing real estate. He enjoys regularly working with homebuilders, commercial developers, landlords and tenants. His real estate practice is complimented by his experience in construction law, where he represents landowners, building owners, and tenants undergoing construction projects. His practice also includes a broad range of corporate and transactional work involving mergers and acquisitions, asset transactions, commercial contracting, and corporate governance.
A Nebraska native, Stephen boasts his extensive experience working with clients involved in agriculture, ranging from assisting farmers and growers with acquiring, selling, and leasing agricultural land, to assisting multinational commodity trading and processing companies with launching new efforts and capitalizing on opportunities all throughout the supply chain.
Stephen brings an optimistic mindset to each matter or transaction and is motivated by helping clients achieve their goals and objectives in a practical and efficient manner. He is often credited for recommending creative, business-minded strategies and solutions. Stephen values interpersonal relationships and works to know and understand not only the business in which his clients are engaged, but also the people engaged in the work.
Stephen and his wife relocated from Nebraska to Arizona in 2024 and enjoy exploring this beautiful state and spending as much time as possible outdoors.
