Cheryl Griemsmann is a detail-oriented Land Use Planner who supports senior planners and attorneys in navigating complex entitlement matters. Her work spans variances, use permits, zoning adjustments, General Plan Amendments (major and minor), text amendments, and a broad range of rezoning cases.
Cheryl brings more than 15 years of public sector experience, including roles with the Maricopa County Department of Transportation and the City of Phoenix Aviation Department. With a strong background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), she produces high-quality maps and presentation graphics that enhance project communication and strategy. Her contributions to the Maricopa County Regional Trail System Plan earned formal recognition from the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors.
Cheryl holds a bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning from the University of Arizona, a master’s degree in Public Policy from Arizona State University, and a Certificate of Completion in Airport Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
