Brian brings a unique blend of public- and private-sector experience to help clients navigate Arizona’s zoning and entitlement process with clarity and confidence. His background with the City of Phoenix, combined with his time in private land use consulting, gives him a practical, solutions-oriented perspective on how to move projects forward.
As a Land Use Planner at Gammage & Burnham, Brian supports clients through the full spectrum of entitlements, including rezonings, PADs, use permits, variances, and special permits. He has worked on a wide range of project types—from multifamily and single-family residential communities to industrial warehouses, data centers, self-storage facilities, restaurants, and billboards. Brian works closely with attorneys, city staff, developers, and neighborhood groups to shepherd projects from early due diligence through entitlement approvals and ultimately to certificates of occupancy.
An FAA-licensed drone pilot, Brian enhances site analysis, zoning research, and public presentations with aerial photography and video—adding valuable perspective at every stage of the development process.
He earned his degree in Urban Planning from Arizona State University and lives in the Phoenix area with his wife and three children. Together, they enjoy the outdoors, playing sports, and making the most of life in Arizona.
