Phoenix Leased Housing Associates II, LLLP, an affiliate of Dominium Development & Acquisition (“Dominium”) is requesting to rezone approximately 14.16 gross acres of property generally located at the northwest corners of 19th and Southern Avenues in Phoenix from PSC (Planned Shopping Center) to C-2 (Intermediate Commercial) with Height and Density Waivers. Dominium, headquartered in Plymouth, Minnesota and with projects across the country, is one of the nation’s largest and most innovative affordable housing development and management companies. Dominium has extensive experience developing forward-looking affordable housing projects and currently manages over 30,000 residential units across 23 states. The purpose of the rezoning request is to accommodate the development of the property with a high quality, modern, affordable multifamily residential community designed for working professionals and families. The development proposal, which will provide 304 residential units, includes a series of clustered buildings ranging in height from one to three-stories, within a gated community, and organized around resident amenities and open space. Project amenities include a community garden, clubhouse, fitness center, community pool, playground areas, shade ramada and barbeque areas, and game yards.
