Gina Carrillo is a passionate employment law attorney. She works with employers with the goal of creating a workplace that fosters high employee morale and minimizes employer liability.

She represents employers in litigation and consults with business on their compliance needs. This includes drafting and auditing employee handbooks, conducting complex independent investigation of employee complaints, drafting and reviewing Employment Agreements, reviewing and drafting restrictive covenant agreements, responding to EEOC position statement requests, representing employers in EEOC and DOL investigations, aiding employers through severance negotiations, and representing parties in mediation and litigation. Employers need to have the right knowledge to navigate tricky employment laws in the workplace. Maintaining a compliant workplace will save companies money and create happy employees.

Prior to joining Gammage & Burnham, Gina ran her own solo practice focusing on federal and state employment law. Prior to that, she was a Senior Federal Trial Attorney for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). She worked in both the Phoenix District Office and the Los Angeles District Office. Not only is she well versed in federal employment discrimination law, but she has also studied countless employer handbooks, investigations, and other human resources documents to know what works, and what doesn’t. She has extensive experience in federal court and knows what it takes for a case to be successful.

Gina is a licensed member of the Arizona and California state bar.
