CALA Alliance: Sabor Culinary Event

Gammage & Burnham is a proud sponsor of Sabor 2018, an International Culinary Collaboration celebrating the Flavors of Oaxaca.

Sabor proceeds benefit CALA Alliance and its mission to create shared arts experiences that encourage cultural understanding between people of the Americas. A Phoenix nonprofit, CALA Alliance is dedicated to inspiring and educating Arizonans and the international community about the richness and depth of artistic talent in our local community, and to creating new understandings through art about Arizona’s connection to the Americas.

This year, CALA Alliance is pleased to host an international chef collaboration in celebration of the cuisine and cultures of Oaxaca, México. At the event, Arizona chef Mel Mecinas, Oaxaca chef Celia Florián and Cocinera Tradicional Catalina Chávez will create a one-night only menu celebrating one of the world’s most important gastronomic regions.
