Project Summary

The Promenade Planned Area Development application (FS20-829) proposes to rezone +/- 44 acres at the southwest corner of Cotton Lane and Waddell Road for a high-quality mixed-use development. The north +/- 11 acres, adjacent to the intersection of Cotton Lane and Waddell Road, are planned for neighborhood-serving commercial, retail, restaurant, and/or gas station/convenience market uses. The +/- 5 acres ‘tucked’ behind these commercial uses are planned for a single-story mini-storage facility. Finally, the remaining south +/- 28 acres are planned for independent senior living and family-oriented multi-family communities. The Promenade includes master site and landscape plans, architectural design guidelines, and an extensive pedestrian connectivity network, all of which are intended to place people where they can live, work, and play.
