Ms. Hassman has worked in the Arizona legal community as a paralegal as well as assisting with client relations and marketing for 25 years. She is a highly skilled trial paralegal who has worked on cases ranging from death penalty criminal defense to insurance defense litigation. She has prepared approximately 30 cases both at the state and federal level for jury trials as well as many administrative law hearings. She has also assisted in the representation of employers in employment cases ranging from EEOC claims to trials related to Title 7 actions. Ms. Hassman’s experience ranges from cases involving roadway design, wrongful death actions, negligent hiring, training and supervision cases. Ms. Hassman has been recognized as a strong presenter and trainer in the areas of E-Discovery, Social Media in Litigation and electronic document review and preparation.
Ms. Hassman is also recognized in the legal community for her client relations and legal marketing ability within the legal arena. She has incorporated her marketing skills into her paralegal profession and has successfully blended the two fields. The edge she has in knowing the legal side of cases adds to her skills in marketing strictly within the legal community.
Ms. Hassman has been continually active in both local and national organizations such as NALA and the Arizona Paralegal Association. She has served on boards within both of these organizations and has been a presenter and has published articles. Ms. Hassman is also a prior member of the the local Arizona Public Risk Management Association (“PRIMA”) and a prior member and board member of National PRIMA.
Ms. Hassman is also active in her community and with her family. She and her husband are the proud owners of Oasis Bagels in Goodyear, Az. and she is a certified scuba diver and works with several charity committees.
