Danny Marks is an attorney with the firm’s employment law practice group. Danny’s practice focuses on employment litigation, human resource issues and corporate matters. Danny regularly represents and advises employers in matters involving the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Arizona Civil Rights Division, the National Labor Relations Board, the Department of Labor, trade secrets, restrictive covenants, business disputes, workplace torts, and options and investigations regarding employee complaints. Danny also handles workplace violence issues and routinely obtains Injunctions Against Workplace Harassment to prevent former employees from harassing employers. Danny’s business and corporate practice includes entity formation, preparation of buy-sell agreements, commercial litigation matters, breach of fiduciary duty claims, real estate disputes, and registering, maintaining and protecting intellectual property on a state and federal level.

Danny received his J.D., with distinction, from the University of Nebraska College of Law. At Nebraska, he was published by the Nebraska Law Review Bulletin and received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Pretrial Litigation, Remedies & Damages, and Criminal Procedure. Danny was a member of the law school’s national trial team, a finalist in the law school’s first-year client counseling competition and a semi-finalist in the school’s Grether moot court competition. Because of his contributions to the law school’s advocacy programs, he was admitted to The Order of Barristers. Danny received his B.A. in History, magna cum laude, from the University of Arizona. Danny previously served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Michael J. Brown of the Arizona Court of Appeals.

  • Authored legal briefs on the nuances of Delaware corporate governance law that controlled the successful outcome of an arbitration wherein the opposing party needed to repay over six figures to our client, plus attorneys’ fees and costs.
  • Prevailed on Motion to Dismiss a Federal Court case that raised six different claims involving serious allegations of inappropriate comments and sexual touching in the workplace.
  • Resolved a Federal Court case that asserted seven different claims against client for only 2.5% of Plaintiff’s demand.
  • Represented client during investigation conducted by the Department of Justice.
  • Secured numerous Injunctions Against Workplace Harassment.
  • Successfully defended employers in unfair labor practice charges before the NLRB.
