SUMMARY:Manjula Vaz to Moderate Greater Phoenix Multi-Family Summit
DESCRIPTION:G&B Partner Manjula Vaz will be moderating this upcoming Bisnow Event! \n“As is true with many asset classes in the Greater Phoenix area\, encouraging economic factors have contributed to a quite attractive multifamily market outlook in 2019. \nThrough a boom in population and subsequent job growth\, the need for housing has helped to drive the uptick in delivered units this year\, with 13\,500 new units to be delivered.  Additionally\, 2019 represents the seventh straight year of positive rent growth\, making rental increases in Metro Phoenix some of the highest gains in the nation. \nWith so many new units and projects coming online\, brings with it\, associated challenges. How are market leaders ensuring the success of these new developments?  Are we at the risk of market saturation? What does the future hold for the multifamily sector in Phoenix? \nJoin us as industry leaders share their insight\, perspective\, and forecast of the future of the Greater Phoenix multifamily market!” \nLearn more or purchase tickets here!

SUMMARY:Nicole Ricker to Moderate Panel at Phoenix Industrial & Logistics Outlook
DESCRIPTION:Gammage & Burnham partner Nicole C. Ricker will be moderating the Bisnow Phoenix Industrial & Logistics Outlook on October 24th! \nBisnow believes that this conversation will be valuable because\, “due to its strategic location just outside pricey California\, the Greater Phoenix Industrial market is thriving. Metro Phoenix is on track for the sixth largest delivery of industrial commercial real estate in America\, and all signs suggest this is only set to continue. \nSince 2010\, Phoenix has added over 313M cubic feet of warehouse space. It has the third largest pool in the Western U.S. for warehouse labor\, and boasts operating costs approximately 40% lower than its California neighbor. \nThe recent completion of the Loop 202 extension makes the transportation of goods into and through the Greater Phoenix area less time-consuming and less costly. This will make Greater Phoenix Industrial developments more attractive to developers and communities.” \nPurchase tickets here!

SUMMARY:Susan Demmitt on Panel for Valley Partnership Breakfast
DESCRIPTION:  \nPartner Susan Demmitt will be speaking on the panel for “Rising Demand\, Soaring Costs: The Next Wave of Valley Homebulding”! \nFor more information about this event or to purchase tickets\, click here! \nEvent Description: \n“The demand for housing in the Valley isn’t the only thing that has changed since Arizona came out of the Great Recession; from an uptick in land residuals to rising material and labor costs while impact and plan review fees increase\, the costs of development and homebuilding have steadily grown and significantly impacted the overall cost of housing in Arizona. As hundreds of new residents move into Maricopa County every day\, analysts have expressed concern with the ability of Valley homebuilders to combat what some are calling hyper-inflation and supply enough affordable housing options as the industry deals with these ever-increasing costs. What steps should the real estate industry take to combat these increases? And how will it affect the rapid growth the Valley continues to experience? \nOur September Friday Morning Breakfast will host an expert-driven discussion on the rising demand and soaring costs that are impacting development and homebuilding in the Valley. You’ll hear where industry leaders think costs will continue to escalate\, how contractors are addressing labor shortages\, why municipal and state governments still play a role in housing prices and what builders are doing to integrate the new demands of homebuyers with their future housing communities. One of our most popular events of the year\, you will not want to miss our September Friday Morning Breakfast!” \n
